The end result of the project would be a video documentary of my successful weight loss journey. I've lost over 140 pounds since June 2013, so I envision it as some sort of 1980s-style montage that incorporates before-and-after pictures, video footage of the workout program I've been doing, and other visual representations of the way my life has changed.
The first step will be getting a better "After" picture of me for this blog, because that one up there is a terrible blurry one I took in October on a dare from an Internet friend. It's the most recent picture I have of myself since I hate the pictures of me, but it's also outdated because I've lost 10 pounds since then.
I'm going to have to research what sort of software I will use, and then make some sort of storyboard and script. Then I'll have to teach myself to use the software. This seems to fit into the themes of knowledge, play and making that are required of the 20% Project. Progress on making the video will be easy to document through screenshots, blogs and rough cuts of video. There's a definite opportunity for failure, since I might not be able to figure out how to put everything together.
